An Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) course is a training program for healthcare professionals that builds on basic life support (BLS) skills to provide advanced care in the management of cardiac arrest, stroke, and other cardiopulmonary emergencies
Description
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Course
This internationally accredited ACLS course is designed for healthcare professionals involved in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest and other cardiovascular emergencies. It emphasises the hands-on application of life-saving interventions using both basic and advanced equipment in realistic, high-pressure scenarios.
The course is open to registered medical doctors, registered nurses, advanced and intermediate life support paramedics, as well as final-year students in these fields. To register, participants must hold a valid, non-expired American Heart Association (AHA) certificate in BLS, ACLS, or PALS.
If you do not currently have a valid BLS for Healthcare Providers (BLS for HCP) certificate, you are required to complete one before attending the ACLS course. A BLS course will be offered beforehand if necessary.
